Outdoor adventure ends with award for Direct Debit bureau

September 30, 2013

Eazipay's Office Manager, Nicki Mackenzie, and Sales Executive, Amie Russell, have returned from spending a week in the great outdoors learning what it takes to be a leader as part of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.

Nicki (24) and Amie (25) were part of a 50 strong delegation of young people selected to attend the seven day course at Grafham Water Centre in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, which is designed to recognise and develop attendees as individuals and team leaders.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is a Rotary International project, which gives young people the opportunity to expand their horizons by developing leadership skills, increasing self-confidence and obtaining new skills that can be applied in the workplace.

As part of the course, Nicki and Amie too part in a mixture of carefully designed learning experiences, a business simulation, and a number of challenging exercises using the outdoors, including an overnight expedition.

Congratulations to Nicki and Amie, and welcome back.
