Leading Direct Debit and automated payment processing company, Eazipay Ltd, has completed a new technology integration with global online accountancy software provider, Xero.

Available on the Xero Marketplace, Eazipay’s Direct Debit plug-in allows Xero users to accept and collect customer payments by Direct Debit and will help business owners best manage their cash flow, improve efficiency, and minimise unnecessary administration tasks.

The Eazipay and Xero partnership offers a fully automated, start-to-finish, Direct Debit payment and collection process, which enables businesses to use Xero to set up and create new Direct Debit payments, and benefit from quicker and easier payment processing through the system’s one-click invoice reconciliation capability.

Luisa Grey, Eazipay’s Director, comments, “Not only is Direct Debit a safe, secure and reliable way for businesses to collect customer payments, it’s also one of the very best ways of ensuring that they are paid on time, and in-full.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be offering our Direct Debit solutions to the millions of small businesses that use Xero to manage their accounting and bookkeeping practices. This partnership makes it as easy as possible for UK businesses to access the many benefits that Direct Debit brings including quicker and easier payment processing and a reduction in time spent chasing late payments.”

Cambridgeshire-based Eazipay has been at the forefront of collecting and processing automated payments like Direct Debit for over 17 years.

The company celebrated one of its most significant milestones at the start of this year when its Direct Debit processing and collection volumes broke the £4 billion mark. In January 2020 alone, over £77 million worth of Direct Debits were processed on behalf of its clients – a mix of SMEs and corporate organisations – taking the company’s total processing volumes to a staggering £4,015,245,336.88 since the figures were first collated in 2008.

In addition to its Direct Debit collection service, Eazipay also offers a range of other automated payment processing services including Direct Credit transactions, SEPA Direct Debits for payment collection in Euros, and a card payment service allowing its clients to collect and process customer payments via debit and credit card.
