Eazipay raises the bar with record performance levels

Eazipay Ltd, a leading Direct Debit processing company based in Cambridgeshire, is celebrating an unprecedented start to 2013 with record breaking business performance levels.

A staggering £75.5 million worth of Direct Debits have been processed on behalf of its clients during the first four months of 2013, signalling the company's best ever opening period in its 11 year history.

Over £17.4 million worth of Direct Debit collections were processed each month during April and March; however, February 2013 lays claim to Eazipays best ever month when £24.5 million worth of Direct Debits were processed on behalf of clients.

A host of new companies signing up to Eazipays Direct Debit services since the start of the year have also contributed to the growth of the business and its increasing customer base, which now boasts over 1,000 companies in a wide range of market sectors throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

In April, for example, Eazipay set up over 6,600 new Direct Debit payers as part of a charity promotion with Bacs, the organisation behind Direct Debit, which raised hundreds of pounds for Marie Curie Cancer Cares Great Daffodil Appeal.

Luisa Grey, Eazipays Director, comments, The start of 2013 has been absolutely amazing for us. Processing volumes are increasing all the time, new customers are constantly coming on board and we're forging associations and partnerships with more and more businesses nationally and throughout Europe.

Compared to the first four months of 2010, were now experiencing a 166% increase in Direct Debit processing volumes, which, considering the turbulent market conditions over the past few years is a fantastic achievement.

The business is clearly going from strength to strength and I'd like to thank all of our staff and business partners for their hard work, commitment and continued support.

Luisa attributes much of the increased demand to the certainty that Direct Debits offer at a time when many companies, even successful ones, are struggling to be paid on time by their customers.

The fact remains that cash is king and companies continue to hold onto their cash as a hedge against uncertain economic timesĀ, adds Luisa. With a Direct Debit system in place, companies know exactly when they are going to be paid and can manage their cash flow much more easily.
