Eazipay backs the Big Break for Marie Curie

Eazipay backs the 'Big Break' for Marie Curie

April 4, 2012

Eazipay Ltd, a leading Direct Debit processing company based in Cambridgeshire, has announced its support of Marie Curie Cancer Care's 2012 Great Daffodil Appeal.

From 1st to 30th April 2012, Eazipay, one of the fastest growing Direct Debit bureaus in the country will be donating 6p to Marie Curie Cancer Care for every new Direct Debit that is set up on behalf of its customers.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Marie Curie Cancer Care, which works tirelessly to ensure terminally ill patients receive the best possible care, including the option of being cared for in their own homes.

Eazipay is supporting the appeal through a˜Big Break" campaign organised by Bacs, the governing body for Direct Debit, which, as well as raising money for Marie Curie, offers customers who switch to paying their bills by Direct Debit the chance to win a Big Break worth £10,000.

Luisa Grey, Eazipays Director, comments, Were delighted to be supporting Marie Curies Great Daffodil Appeal again. Last year we ran a similar donation promotion and recorded over 5,000 new Direct Debit payers and this year were really hoping we can beat that and raise even more money for the charity.

Collecting payments and paying bills by Direct Debit has many advantages; its safe, reliable and gives people the best chance to control their finances. By supporting our campaign and setting up Direct Debit payments, people will not only be able to save money and have a chance of winning £10,000, but they also have the added satisfaction from knowing that they are also helping to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

Eazipay, which is based in Littleport, Cambridge and employs 21 full and part time staff, provides regular Direct Debit services to over 750 companies in a wide range of market sectors throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

In February 2012, the company recorded its best ever month for Direct Debit collections when a staggering £19.3 million worth of Direct Debits were processed on behalf of clients during the month.
