Christmas comes but once a year. This year the once is April!

April 21, 2015

Conventional wisdom has it that Christmas parties are held around, um, Christmas.

Eazipay, however, has never been a conventional company * which is why we decided to hold our Christmas Do in April.

And outside.

the winning team navyWe nipped off to nearby Chettisham last week and had a fab day of It's A Knockout style events run by multi-activity and events company, Off Limits (http://www.offlimits.co.uk). They have all the original kit from the BBC show and put on a cracking day of entertainment for us.

Four teams took part, made up of staff, partners and a few friends and everyone had a whale of time playing games such as Beer Goggles Football, Water Hurdles and Barmy Bingo. As you’d expect with It’s a Knockout there were plenty of mad moments, belly laughs and nostalgia.

To round off we had a Hog Roast, supplied by Jon and Julie Peck of Stretham, and then toddled off home, tired but happy.

I think we might have Christmas in April every year!

*That wasn't the only reason. Truth is that December is a busy old time for us, what with everyone setting up Direct Debits with Santa, so April works better.
