consistent care giving is the key

Home Instead Senior Care, South East Northumberland, provides high quality home care services to older people in Morpeth, Ponteland, Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington, Wideopen and surrounding areas.

Director, Guy Kirk, spent 23 years in social services before becoming a Home Instead Senior Care owner in April 2017. He says the level of care he receives from Eazipay is similar to the level he supplies to his own clients.

“When I first began looking at taking on a Home Instead franchise, I was advised by head office to have more than one method of payment, the argument being that it gave clients flexibility. I, however, wasn't convinced. I knew that eventually I wanted all my clients to be on Direct Debit and felt I should start as I meant to go on.

“Direct Debit has so many advantages over other payment methods: it's easy, efficient, missed payments are pretty much a thing of the past, and I can guarantee my cash flow.

“Having decided on that course, I consulted my brother. He was already an Eazipay user in a different industry and has very high standards. He recommended them warmly and if they are good enough for him …

“And he was right. Eazipay could not have been nicer or more helpful. From my very first enquiry, to setting up the account, to correcting my occasional mistakes, to being proactive when something doesn't look quite right, they've always been there for me. They explain things simply and their fee structure is uncomplicated and inexpensive.

“Not only that, but the consistency of who I deal with is remarkable. One of the things I learned very early on in social care is that having the same carer visiting a client is extremely important if you want to build confidence and trust. It's much the same with Eazipay. Clearly, contracting out the collection of your income requires a certain amount of faith, and the fact that in my time with Eazipay I've only dealt with two people means they get to know my needs and we build a working relationship.

“And when I or my clients have made mistakes, Eazipay has always rectified them very quickly. As an example, recently a client put a wrong account number on their form. I rang Eazipay and they'd sorted out the issue in twenty minutes.

“In my business, it's all about the relationship. Building trust and confidence is crucial and consistent care giving is a hugely important part of that. From what I've seen so far, Eazipay takes a very similar approach and it's one which is definitely working for me.”
