EDDI - Eazipay's Direct Debit Interface. An online portal to access and manage your Direct Debit accounts. find out more

Askmore Communications is a rapidly growing telecommunications provider. The company has its head office in Wales and a number of satellite offices across the North West of England and the Midlands.

Askmore came to Eazipay after an uncomfortable experience with a bank, as Managing Director, Chris Statham, explains.

“In a previous incarnation, we had had a Direct Debit agreement with one of the big four banks. To my mind this was an extremely unsatisfactory arrangement. Unquestionably we needed Direct Debit, but the costs involved and penalties incurred for making mistakes made the whole set up completely unsustainable.

“When I took control of the company, I asked around and came across Eazipay through a friend of a friend. They began to collect some Direct Debits on our behalf and the process was so effortless and cost effective that soon we moved our entire business across.

“The benefits to us are numerous. We rely on regular monthly payments from our customers and to know those are pretty much guaranteed is a good feeling. We can be much more confident in our cash flow predictions and don't have to worry about when money will come in.

“Eazipay's costs are also very reasonable. They offer us a real saving when compared with the administration expenses we were incurring with the bank. Trying to manage our payments the old fashioned way, with invoices and bill chasing, was equally time consuming and expensive.

“Askmore is also looking to the future. We're a very fast growing company. We currently bill around £30-£40,000 a month and we regularly see a 30 per cent increase in turnover. If sorting out invoices is difficult now, imagine what it would be like in two or three years’ time! The time and costs involved don't really bear thinking about.

“With Eazipay we know we have a billing system in place that will grow with us and allow us to expand with confidence, safe in the knowledge that our money will come in when it's supposed to.  And if for any reason a payment is missed, we'll find out about it in 24 hours rather than after weeks of letters and unanswered phone calls.

“Best of all, Eazipay are a joy to work with. We've always found them to be immensely professional and very responsive to our needs. When we first took them on, they were very thorough and made sure we understood exactly how the system worked. They've retained that high level of service ever since.

“For us, Direct Debit has been such a success that for many of our new customers it's now a mandatory part of their contract.”
