Car wash boosts cancer charityNovember 2, 2011Staff at Littleport-based Direct Debit processing company, Eazipay Ltd, raised over £340 for Breast Cancer Campaign by organising a pink charity car wash at the weekend.
Sophie Farnell, event organiser and one of Eazipay’s Sales Executives, comments, “We were delighted with the support we received on Sunday. It was a very busy and tiring day but we’re so pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile cause and would like to extend our thanks to everyone who came along on the day as well as those who couldn’t make it but made a donation online through our JustGiving page.” Breast cancer has become the most common cancer in the UK, affecting one in nine women at some point in their life. The research work that the charity carries out is vital in the search of a cure for breast cancer and relies solely on voluntary donations. The Eaziapy Charity Car Wash JustGiving page will remain open for the next two weeks where donations can be made online. All monies raised will go direct to the charity. www.justgiving.com/theeazipaycarwash.
